Product Introduction
304L is a versatile, low-carbon variant of the popular 304 (18/8) austenitic stainless steel. Its defining characteristic is the maximum 0.03% carbon content, which gives it excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially after welding. This makes 304L the preferred choice for fabrications and structures where welding is required, as it eliminates the need for post-weld annealing in most cases.
Offering a good combination of corrosion resistance, formability, and toughness, 304L is widely used across various industries, including chemical processing equipment, architecture, food & beverage machinery, and pressure vessels
