Product Introduction

310S Stainless Steel Coil is a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel specifically engineered for exceptional high-temperature oxidation resistance and elevated temperature strength. With a balanced high chromium (24-26%) and nickel (19-22%) composition, 310S delivers superior performance in continuous service up to 1150°C, making it the premier choice for high-temperature furnace components, heat treatment equipment, and thermal processing applications. The "S" designation indicates lower carbon content (≤0.08%) compared to standard 310 grade, providing improved resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion in welded structures exposed to high temperatures.

Supplied in continuous coil form for manufacturing efficiency, 310S combines outstanding oxidation resistance, creep strength, and sulfidation resistance at elevated temperatures. Its high alloy content ensures the formation of a stable, protective chromium oxide scale that resists spalling during thermal cycling, while its austenitic structure maintains good ductility and toughness across a wide temperature range. Particularly valuable in heat-intensive industries, 310S offers reliable performance where other stainless steels would rapidly degrade, providing an optimal balance of high-temperature capability and fabricability.
